Meet the Tutors

Hey - we’re Abbie & Jack! As active industry professionals, we’re passionate, friendly tutors with years of teaching experience and a shared love for helping students discover their creativity through music.

We met whilst studying Songwriting at university and have been working together ever since - performing, writing and touring across the UK and Europe. With over 7 years of collaboration in a band together, we’re eager to bring real-world music industry insight straight into our lessons.

As active artists, we make sure our teaching is always fresh, relevant and grounded in the reality of today’s music scene. Whether you’re a total beginner or already a budding musician, we tailor every session to your goals and make learning music fun and inspiring, making boring music lessons a thing of the past.

  • Piano, Vocals & Songwriting

    Abbie is a passionate and experienced tutor with a background in classical training and contemporary performance. She holds top Trinity and ABRSM qualifications in Piano, Singing & Musical Theatre and spent 5+ years as a chorister in a cathedral choir.

    She later went on to study Songwriting BA (Hons) at university, where she deepened her understanding of composition, arrangement, and music theory. Alongside teaching, Abbie works professionally in the music industry - regularly writing, recording, and performing original material. She brings a unique, up-to-date perspective into her lessons combining classical foundations with real-world music experience.

    Abbie creates a relaxed, supportive and fun environment for all her students, eager for them to build confidence and find their own voices. Whether they’re just starting out or working towards exams, auditions, or performances, Abbie will nurture and guide you through every step of the way!

  • Guitar, Bass & Drums

    Jack is a passionate multi-instrumentalist with over 10 years of experience playing in bands and touring across the UK and Europe. He holds a BA (Hons) in Songwriting as well as top Rockschool qualifications in guitar, bringing both technical skill and real-world experience to every lesson.

    Over the years, Jack has taught 100+ students, helping each one grow in confidence and ability, whether they’re complete beginners or working towards graded exams. Jack absolutely loves tailoring lessons to suit individual goals and interests and is passionate about spreading his love of music and guitar, with a strong belief that music is one of the healthiest and most rewarding hobbies you can have. His mission is to help students get to where they want to be whilst spreading the joy that music has brought to his own life.
